HERE AND NOW &  SMILE - Foreword by Frank Paetzel

Is Raphael Wilczek amongst the actors the better painter or amongst the painters the better actor.

This question comes up if you follow his appreciation for the performing arts.

Certainly he chose painting, which he intuits as a dialog of feelings between the artist and the viewer and which creates a new and the casuality that "causes".

 His new works are mirroring the untouchable freedom of art, like dreams which are untouchable as well. Only their interpretation creates a new doorway to painting and to the inside of the human soul. 

Raphael (the painter) Wilczek wants to make visible and experienceable what all people have i n front of their eyes. He understands painting as viewing, feeling and thinking.

With some of his paintings you can virtualy see, smell and hear the brush strokes.
